My Style
The long name for the style of rp that I use is Paragraph Freeform. If your waiting for the long discussion about dice rolls, probability tables, and book lists, you wont find them here. In this form there are no dice, and only a few simple rules. Instead of thinking of it as a game, something made to be won or lost, think of it as story writing. The focus is not on who can survive the longest and amass the most treasure, nor is it always about defeating some world endangering threat. The entertainment comes from having dynamic characters to bounce off other characters and events as a story unfolds.
My Stories
While freeform can literally be about anything under the sun, people like to stick to certain genres. I am a particular fan of fantasy style worlds and future worlds of varying sorts. Usually the further away from the ordinary and the mundane the happier I am. This style caters to my interests because it allows me to be flexible in the creation of a setting. Unlike D'n'D or Shadow run or any of the countless other book related tabletop games, I can forge my own world for players to be in. It does take a little maturity to play in these settings. Because there are so few hard and fast rules, especially when it comes to combat, there are a lot of ways to pull the entertainment value right out by abusing the freedom.
